Acceptable Use Policy

1. Use it lawfully and professionally

You may not use the Service to:

• Break any law or regulation, or the rules of professional conduct that apply to you.
• Solicit prospective clients in violation of attorney advertising and solicitation rules, including sending written communications to accident victims within the period the rules prohibit.
• Provide legal advice to the public through automated means, or present the Service's output to anyone as advice from a lawyer when no lawyer reviewed it.
• Send messages that are deceptive, harassing, threatening or defamatory, or that impersonate another person.
• Process information you have no right to use, or violate anyone's privacy or confidentiality rights.
• Upload protected health information before your firm has signed our Business Associate Agreement.

2. Respect public court and records systems

• Do not use the Service to bypass CAPTCHAs, access controls or usage limits of court, clerk or other third-party systems.
• Do not use docket search to compile bulk data about individuals for purposes unrelated to your legal matters.

3. Do not attack or overload the Service

• No probing, scanning or testing the Service's security without our written permission.
• No attempts to access other firms' data, other users' accounts, or parts of the Service you are not authorized to use.
• No malware, and no deliberately malicious documents intended to manipulate the AI into acting outside its instructions.
• No automated access, scraping or load that degrades the Service for others, except through interfaces we provide for that purpose.
• No reverse engineering, reselling, or using the Service to build a competing product.

4. AI output

• Review AI output before relying on it, filing it or sending it.
• Do not use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, or to fabricate evidence, citations, records or signatures.
• Do not present AI-drafted research as verified unless you have verified it.

5. Reporting and enforcement

Report suspected misuse or security vulnerabilities to [email protected]. If we believe this policy has been violated, we may remove content, suspend users or suspend a workspace, as described in the Terms. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
