Module 08 · Drafting & demands
The demand package, drafted in your style and checked before you see it.
Demand letters and routine correspondence drafted in your firm's style, checked before they reach you.
The problem
Why it's hard today
A demand letter takes a case manager most of a day: the chronology, the specials, the liens, the limits, the exhibits. Per-demand AI vendors help, at a price for every letter.
The real risk is not the prose. It is a demand that leaves out a provider, misstates the specials or quotes the wrong limits.
How it works
4 steps, start to finish
- 1
Assemble from the file
Chronology, damages ledger, liens, 627 limits and photos come from the case, not from a blank page.
- 2
Draft in your format
Your headings, tone and exhibit order, matched to sample demands your firm provides.
- 3
Pre-send checks
Every provider on the lien sheet is covered, specials match the bills, limits match the disclosure, no SSN anywhere, no other client's name.
- 4
You approve the exact bytes
Edit, approve or reject. What you approve is what is sent, verified by a content hash.
Approval: Demands are attorney-only approvals. Nothing is sent without the attorney's sign-off.
Questions
Drafting & demands: FAQ
Is there a per-demand fee?
No. Demands are included in the seat price, subject to the published fair-use policy on the Solo plan.
Can we edit the draft?
Yes. Edit in place before you approve. The edited version is what gets sent.
Does it decide what the case is worth?
No. Valuation and the amount demanded are the attorney's call. The draft leaves the figure for you to set.
Start with one case. Keep the queue.
Open the sample firm and approve a records request, or set up your own workspace in a few minutes. Your firm signs our BAA in the app before any client records go in.
